Air Jordan Jumpman Elite 2009

Jordan Brand is always keeping it fresh for all of their athletes, even if the athlete doesn’t have their own signature line.  For the 2008-2009 NBA season, Jordan Brand has cooked up a new Jumpan Elite for 2009, that should be seen on most Jordan Brand sponsored athletes in the coming months.  The shoe features a white leather upper, with patent leather around the toe and some black and red accents, including a red Jumpman.  The sole looks very nicely constructed and is made up of black, white and red.  These should hit retailers in February, 2009 with the price tag of $123.00.  via Kenlu

Air Jordan 24? Air Jordan 2009? Air Jordan 2k9? No one for sure knows the name of the upcoming Air Jordan shoe though we were told the Jordan XX3 would be the last “numbered” Air Jordan, but there are some indications and some hints about the look for the Air Jordan 2009.

Air Jordan XX3 Wear Test Sample

This Air Jordan XX3 was one of several “Wear Test” samples that went through extensive testing on the court in JB’s process of perfecting the shoe.

The blank color is nothing spectacular, but like a Ferrari wrapped in flat black plastic driving on a hidden track, the performance of the product is more important than its visual appearance.

The Air Jordan 5/18 Countdown Pack has dropped this weekend. The pack consists of two sneakers a Jordan 5 and 18 with a red/black and a white colorway. It’s $210 for kids and $310 for men sizes, so hurry while they’re still around.

Earlier this month, pictures of the Varsity Red/Dark Army Air Jordan I (1) High Retro were posted on eBay, now two other Air Jordan 1’s have appeared online. The first style will be a limited released and consists of black, infrared and white, having a more traditional appearance than the Air Jordan previously seen.

The other Air Jordan 1 High Retro will also be a limited release, but has the Premier title attached. It is composed of pewter, black and max orange. Both models will be released on January 31st, 2009 and will retail for $105 and $115 respectably. Via nt.

Last week we got a look at the Countdown Pack Air Jordan 1 that will make its way in the 1/22 Countdown Pack, but as with any Jordan that is selected, there are always some colors that didn’t make the cut.

One that didn’t get picked for the pack was another original color in Black/Grey, but while it is nice to see “what could have been,” the buyer of this sample pair noticed something a little interesting – one foot was the mid top, the other was a high top. Does this mean that high top Air Jordan 1’s aren’t gone for good as we once thought? Possibly down the road will we get a high cut in some OG classic colors? Only time will tell.

Air Jordan 4/19 Countdown Pack. This pack features one of the most timeless Jordan shoes of all time, the Black/Red Air Jordan 4. To get the math right, Jordan included the Air Jordan 19 in the Black/Red colorway making this the first Countdown Package to feature two pairs of kicks in the “Bred” colorup.

This pack, like all prior ones, will retail for $310. Demand is pretty strong for the Jordan 4 making this package sure to sell through without any problems, but I wouldn’t anticipate quite as many people lining up for them as with the Jordan 6 Carmines and Jordan 7 Hares. eBay prices are always a decent indicator of how things will pen out tomorrow for those looking to purchase in person, and with no auctions going for over $350, things should be ok.

Legendary Nike designer, Tinker Hatfield, responsible for the majority of Michael Jordan’s most popular signature sneakers has succeeded throughout the years not only based on immense talent but an extraordinary imagination as well. The original Jordan V design was inspired by the P-51 Mustang, a WWII fighter plane used by the Tuskegee Airmen combined with a rendering of a Grey Nurse Shark on the midsole. Keeping this theme alive, strong military colors are featured included with the addition of shark eyes and the initials MJJ on the side standing for Michael Jeffrey Jordan. Surely to be a collectors item in the future, these are now available at Jordan Flight Club with a price of $175.

Check the Air Jordan 1 “Father’s Day” Sneakers one of the pair of series kicks coming from many more in the future of “1 Series”. They will be released in June in the middle of Summer. 

The black/white upper features a clear Swoosh and herringbone like materials along the side and toe-box. Estimated release date is June 7th, in time for Father’s Day approximately a week later.

The Nike Air Jordan 1 Armed Forces Pack Sneakers have been revealed and they are an instant classic due to the story behind them. You see Michael Jordan’s older brother James Ronald “Ronnie” Jordan, Jr. enlisted in the US Army at the age of only seventeen years old. He served for 31 years including staying an extra year of duty on tour in Iraq after his scheduled retirement. While serving his country, Ronnie achieved the highest rank of any enlisted signal soldier as Command Sergeant Major of the 35th Signal Brigade.

Jordan Brand created the Armed Forced Package to commemorate the service of Ronnie Jordan and all other Armed Forces service members. Two pairs of Air Jordan 1’s will make up this package including this pair that has a badged on the shoe similar to Ronnie’s rank badge. Other aesthetic highlights of the shoes include a scratched suede and fatigue-style olive canvas swoosh. Both pairs of the Armed Forces Package will release May 24th Stateside, but this pair has released already overseas at Size?.
